Enhancing Value Through Policy Updates

In our continuous effort to improve the services and offerings available to our agency partners, we are excited to announce a significant update to our refund policy. Effective immediately, Air Canada now provides a 48-hour refund policy for all bookings made through the NDC (New Distribution Capability) channels. This initiative is part of our commitment to enhancing the NDC program and ensuring greater value for our travel agency partners.

Details of the 48-Hour Refund Policy

The newly implemented 48-hour refund policy allows agencies to issue refunds within 48 hours of ticket issuance, offering increased flexibility and a smoother experience for travelers. This policy is designed to accommodate the dynamic nature of travel planning and provide our partners with an enhanced ability to manage bookings effectively.

Importantly, this refund option is exclusively available to travel agencies utilizing Air Canada’s NDC channel or making bookings via our AC Connex platform. This ensures that our most dedicated partners reap the benefits of this advantageous policy. Furthermore, there is no additional implementation required from your side; our systems are already optimized to accommodate these changes seamlessly.

Benefits for Travel Agencies and Their Customers

This update not only reflects our dedication to enhancing the NDC program but also significantly benefits agencies and their clients. By providing a straightforward pathway for refunds within the initial 48 hours, we empower travel agencies to better serve their clients during unforeseen circumstances or changes in travel plans.

We understand that customer satisfaction is paramount in the travel industry, and our new refund policy is a testament to that understanding. Offering an easy mechanism for refunds allows travel agencies to build trust with their customers, promoting loyalty and repeat business. This responsive approach is crucial in a landscape where customer expectations continue to evolve.

Moving forward, we encourage all our agency partners to take full advantage of this policy update. We are committed to supporting you through this transition and ensuring that you experience all the benefits associated with the Air Canada NDC program.

In conclusion, the introduction of the 48-hour refund policy is yet another step that exemplifies Air Canada's commitment to our travel agency partners. With enhanced operational capabilities, travel agencies can now manage bookings with heightened efficiency and customer satisfaction in mind. We look forward to your continued partnership as we navigate this exciting journey together.
